The police in Trøndelag write on X that they have received a report of a dust gas explosion in the Valsneset area.
Fire arrived at the scene. No personal injury reported. Major damage to industrial buildings, the police write. Duty leader in the fire service, Gunnar Sundli, informs VG that there is a dust gas explosion in a silo where flour is stored.
There is damage to the top of the silo, but there is no fire. There is some wreckage hanging out of the silo that we have no control over – we are working on securing it, says Sundli.
The supervisor adds that all persons have been accounted for and have been evacuated. He tells of several resources on site from both the fire service, police and health service.
